I guess apologizing would mean they accept some semblance of guilt over employing a sexual predator…
Needless to say, the university issued exactly the kind of statement that says nothing of substance (zero-tolerance … safety of our students etc.) The coach left a few years ago, but the Athletic Director that Cooper reported it to is still there, winning awards and everything.
