Well, this is concerning. Contrary to their statment, the editorial independence can not be confirmed, as it is highly improbable that the owners would accept any form of criticism of their entrenched religiopolitical ideologies.

A quick look at their website appears to show the owners‘ support and promote a growing social narrative, that challenges the validity of legitimate criticism of Islamic religiopolitical beliefs by framing this as an act of racism and bigotry.

It can only be viewed as striking irony Orwell once worked here, given his enduring warnings about the distortion of truth and suppression of dissent:

      > Former Tribune editor and long-time columnist Paul Anderson told Press Gazette that the deal represented a “nadir” for Tribune.

      > Anderson said: “Tribune was always secularist and not connected with organised religion.

      > He said: “I’m amazingly angry about it. The link probably comes from the Jeremy Corbyn factor, that Islamic hard-left alliance.

      > “Some of the people in Jacobin are hard-left and into anti-imperialism – so America is the worst thing and anything that’s against America is probably a good thing.

The traditions of the left further disappear.

    4. Never heard of it, but I’m guessing the rage over this will reach pork joint boiling point.
