We’ve already been sold out, per The Economist.
Parliament has been open for a few weeks and Carney has already agreed to hand over control of our entire minerals sector to the Americans. First right of refusal makes it effectively impossible to sell to anybody else.
If this is what standing up to the US looks like, I’d hate to see what the LPC actually considers selling out to be.

Of course not. Parliament gets to see the agreement once it is hammered out and agree amend or deny it. Parliament is not part of the negotiating team.
