Hallo! Kann jemand bitte die Bedeutung dieses Zeichens klären? Ein Einheimischer sagte mir, dass ich nur zwischen 09:00 und 20:00 Uhr für das Parken bezahlen müsse, und ich kann dort außerhalb dieser Stunden kostenlos parken. Ein anderer Einheimischer sagte, ich könne dort nur in diesen Stunden parken und ich werde eine gute Geldstrafe bekommen, wenn ich dort außerhalb dieser Stunden parken kann. Bitte sei es ernst, ich habe nonstop gegoogelt.

This is in Turku btw
Parking with ticket at that time. In weekdays. Other times free parking. (In oarwnthesis Is Saturday, normal weekays are the other)
Editted to add paranthesis meaning
Time without brackets: working days (Mon-Fri).
Time with brackets: Saturdays.
Time with red font (not present in this particular sign): Sundays and other national holidays.
Outside of those time ranges, you may park free.
There is no indication that parking is forbidden outside of these hours. This sign only indicates that you need to pay on weekdays until 8 pm and on Saturdays until 5 pm.
Aren’t traffic signs taught at the traffic/driving school before you get your license?
Unfortunately nobody knows the answer.
You have to pay between 09:00 and 20:00. On Saturday between 09:00 – 17:00 Sundays is free. The zone number indicates how expensive it is and how long you may park there. This is zone 1.

Additional signs can only limit or specify the original sign. So how you read this sign:
– this is a parking place, where you can leave your car.
– however, during the times indicated, you need to pay a fee.
That is all. Outside the times indicated, it is still a parking place, just without a fee.
It dosent matter where you are in Finland..it the same law everywhere…well Turku..but still
No idea what this means. I guess it means that one has to pay for parking during those hours.
I do understand at least when a sign says **parking is allowed for 2 hours during these hours** as it does mean that after those hours are over, one can just leave their car there.
