I feel like last season was the best one even though it feels like it was five years ago at this point
Season 1 was a perfect piece of television. Seasons 2 and beyond felt more like a way to capitalize on the show’s popularity than a necessary continuation of the story, imo.

I really hate how now people expect tv shows to be finite miniseries with a specific arc instead of an ongoing story based around an interesting premise/setting
1st season – classic
its been mostly crap after and he’s right, repeating the same beats
last season’s mystery was ok
but they should’ve wrapped up the show long ago – the detour to russia was a mistake
Quite a few of the actors of this show do nothing but complain about it now.
It was, and still is the only good thing any of you have done(that *I* have seen, minus Wynonna Ryder, Mathew Modine and Sean Astin).
Its disheartening, how many actors are like this now about their projects, or projects that made them famous.
They all just seem to view movies/tv shows as a vehicle to more followers. Think that is a reason there are so many bad movies/acting performances/writing these days?
Stranger Things should have had each season dedicated to a different story with different characters but taking place in the same timeframe and same „universe“, maybe with some overlap.
Kind of like Twilight Zone but in seasons instead of episodes.
Where is this „it hasn’t been good since season 1“ crap coming from when every season was hugely praised when it came out? I remember loving season 3 (I haven’t seen 4 but everyone I know who did said they loved it).
