A part of my teen years passed along with her today. I enjoyed her. Rest easy Ananda.

Cancers can obviously be in the chest wall but, as a woman, that tissue would have to go.
How sad. I haven’t seen her on anything in a while, but my generation grew up watching her on MTV. RIP.
Damn. I watched her almost everyday as a teen. Condolences to her family. She was a big part of the last 90s and early 2000s
Passed away at 52, gone too soon. I hope she rests in peace.

I had such a crush on her as a kid.
Amanda Lewis’s death feels so senseless. She had early-stage breast cancer; treatable, survivable. But instead of getting radiation, she followed advice from people pushing unproven “alternatives.” I’m not against alternative medicine, but the lack of regulation in this space and the charlatans who exploit vulnerable people is infuriating. She didn’t need to die. This shouldn’t have happened.
She spoke out and expressed her regret, and said by the time she realized it wasn’t working the cancer had metastasized.
She was not just an MTV VJ but a host of Teen Summit on BET
She gave interviews & hosting on MTV major spice when it was boring🥺rest easy beautiful angel
This breaks my heart. I admired her. She was so pretty and intelligent. I tried to get my hair like hers when I was younger.
