NanoGPT got a mention in a thread here and I got quite some chat messages about it, figured I’d do an explainer post.

# Is it free?

We have a free model for text and 10 free generations per day with Hidream for images. That said, for the better models it is paid, anyone that offers this for free is probably selling your data. It is cheap, though. On average a prompt costs about $0.01, though it differs between models. Images are cheap as well, video is expensive.

**That said, I’ll send a prefunded account to anyone that wants to try us.** Alternatively, work on your crypto street cred and try us out with a $0.10 transaction.
