    1. > „I also think it’s easy to create a lot of jealousy when a person is not involved in the industry, because actors by nature are very free-spirited and they create very intimate relationships with people at work,“ she said. „They can be loyal to a partner and also very engaged in all these other kinds of relationships, and I think it can be a blurry line for some people.“

This sounds like someone who’s never worked a real job. With real people. Coworkers here be banging all the time.

Why is every quote from a Hollywood celebrity always weird and out of touch.

    4. You work closely for many hours with people and then don’t see them again. Probably works well for free spirits

I feel like a lot of people are jumping on this quote unfairly.

Yes, normal people have close relationships with their coworkers. Actors have simulated relationships with their coworkers, are often shown in public with those same coworkers, and occasionally have simulated romantic scenes with their coworkers. It’s not the same as having an opposite sex coworker you’re friends with in an office job.

I mean, she announced that she’s not a monogamous person back during her first marriage to Ryan Reynolds. This is nothing new for her.

    7. Alternative Title: “Scarlett Johansson friend-zoned so many actors and she is utterly unaware.”

    8. I saw a post here once of a set of photos of Steve Carrel with a former actress he worked with and they were VERY intimate. These weren’t even on set, they were just them in their personal time. Yeah actors kinda have to live that life to boost their online status.

Why does this somehow feel like it’s in response to the article that came out about glen powells breakup with his ex??? Just coincidental timing?

None celebs usually don’t have to contend with their partner leaving to spend months at a time with that coworker, be that shooting a film or literally travelling the world to promote it. The whole time, how they interact, on screen and off has to be perfect in order to further sell the film I can see why that might be hard for a normie.

That said, still a weird way of wording it. Ew.

      Honestly, I get it.

Imagine every few moths, you join a new community at a new job. You spend 12 hours a day with this weird cocktail of stress and boredom usually in the middle of somewhere far from home with all these people. It becomes like high school, where people are thick as thieves and sort of need to survive with each other. They’re all there for the same reason and you probably have a fair bit in common with your co-stars and sorta grow close at the heightened energy of this *thing*. It just kind of brings you together in an intense way and totally pulls you apart in the same way after. It’s happened to every play or show I’ve ever done. I had one girlfriend who just couldn’t understand the idea that I might have to kiss somebody, but I don’t really like them…it’s just the gig.

None of that has to be sexual. but people not in the arts either totally get it, or do not and think its just corny or must be sexual.

No, she just doesn’t want to date men who have a 9 to 5 job, because they are below her league (she makes tens of millions every year)
