Like how the Americans have vetoed every single UNSC ceasefire attempt? It’s a shame to see our governments doing so little so late.
Why are we just sanctioning these two while still selling arms to Israel? We should have full sanctions, arms embargo and recognition of the Palestinian state.
Dragging this out is embarrassing and disingenuous. The Americans will supply and deny this genocide until Trump wakes up one day and pretends he was against it all along.
Our government is being cowardly in its inability to actually deploy sanctions. There needs to be more, soon.
Condemnation from the current US administration is essentially confirmation that this was the right call by Carney.
Canada is right to stand with the international community. The US is on the wrong side of history and they have only themselves to blame.
