Unlike the Republican base who will latch onto whatever shiny object dear leader and his propagandists put in front of them, Democratic voters generally don’t have the memory of a goldfish and hold people accountable for their actions… sometimes to too much of an extent because they will look decades into the past to find a reason to not like someone, which is why people find some of them so insufferable.
I don’t see him wanting to come back, but if he actually sees the errors of his ways, I have no problem with it.
