I think these groups dramatically overestimate how much the Canadian public at large cares about India or Indian politics.
They are too big to ignore and ice out. Like it or not we need to have a working relationship with them.

They can denounce all they want if they think that’s what they need to do, so long as they don’t try to do anything about it. G7 invitations are all about politics and, like it or not, Modi is the leader of a major world player right now.
We need to get rid of Canadian politicians who appease certain folks from other countries based on their identity/ religion.

Look, it’s not an invitation for a state visit. The G7 needs to take India’s desire to be part of its process seriously, or rusk subverting its own purpose. It just happens to be in Canada, and that’s what he’s invited to.
Canadians voted out PP in his own riding but he’s allowed to keep going and there will be a by-election for him. Sometimes things suck and there is a bigger picture
