My husband can’t wait. It makes him feel like he’s doing something — as useless as it may be. I just fear that at age 70, and not in good health, he could get accidentally knocked down.

    2. Civil War has already started with military fighting American Citizens.

We always knew their oaths meant nothing. Hope everyone else is waking up to that fact now.

    3. I’m so glad I retired. I would have resigned my commission.

Bush put me in Iraq and look what has become of it. I would never imagine jailing our own citizens. This is really the plot for project 2025 to exceed the authority of the constitution; it’s not even about the riots itself. Republicans are so caught up in culture wars, they are completely blind to what the true end state is.

Make no mistake about it. Those marines are there to kill protesters. Those are their orders.

They are going to kill citizens for exercising their right to protest and the majority of the country is going to let it happen.

Don’t we have some kinda right to peacefully assemble… ? A constitutiony kinda thing?

I can understand involving cops in RIOTS… but these are still being referred to as PROTEST.

Are we just being made comfortable seeing a violent governmental response to peaceable assembly?

There are literally not enough troops to quash protests in all 50 states.

    7. getting signs ready! dunno if i want to go taco themed or something else. thinking „basic accountability for extraordinary corruption“

    8. Us non Americans breaking out the popcorn. Honestly though, good luck guys. Your northern neighbours are rooting for you 🇨🇦

    9. And as this is going on, his birthday military parade will be rolling through the streets of DC. The juxtaposition and imagery is going to be downright dystopian

    10. Given he is deploying marines to the LA protests now, pretty sure he wants this nation wide rally to occur so he can claim it’s a giant insurrection and enact martial law, right on his birthday.

I wish I was that brave. If I don’t get my meds every 8 hours, bad shit happens. That’s the only thing keeping me from going. And that’s just the one medication out 4 lol.

I hope it rains on his parade. I feel so utterly hopeless but that would at least be nice. He’ll probably deploy the marines to fight the clouds.

      Fuck yeah PATRIOTS.

What a wild fucking timeline we live in. A political party who claims to eat breath and live patriotism and the constitution is the one that is supporting the destruction of it, and anti-American authoritarian rulers and policies.

They don’t want liberty. They want to be subjugated. They want a king.

this combined with the military parade in dc and whats going on all over california like la and san francisco will determine if martial law will be declared and the end of america and democracy begins or will there be enough pushback to end this for good

    15. I wish the generals would remember their oath was to the Constitution and not this dipshit.

    16. Also the new Pope will be giving an address during trumpy’s lil parade. And don’t forget, FIFA Cup matches start Saturday June 14, and include a match at the Rose Bowl June 15th. You think there MIGHT be some international press coverage of all the demonstrations?

    17. wade_wilson44 on

Honest question, was there even a single Joe Biden protest, barring j6 which trump effectively encouraged himself?

Crushing protests in the „Bastion of Democracy.“

      America, what have you done?

    19. Oh man, I just remembered I got tickets to Trump’s parade but I have something else to do that day. Oh well.

If exposed to OC spray, dawn dish soap and water will help fully remove it from the skin as painlessly as possible

Ideally, thoroughly apply dawn dish soap to affected areas *without* water so as to draw out the OC from the skin, and then after a few minutes, thoroughly rinse/wash it off with water.

He can’t „crush“ all 1800– especially if all his toys are parading in DC. See you Saturday.
