    Ich habe das vor ungefähr einer halben Stunde gefunden und ich denke, es ist deutsch?

    Es heißt "DEUTSCHER VERBAND" und unterer Schrift sagt "SPORT".

    Der Rücken sagt "DDR MEISTER 1979"

    Ist es eine alte Medaille? Fand es in meinem Haus in England. Ich weiß nicht, woher es hätte kommen können!

    Ich entschuldige mich, wenn es das falsche Sub ist, aber wenn es von jemandem erkannt wird, der etwas Licht vergießen könnte, wäre das großartig. 😄

      It‘s a medal for a GDR (East Germany) Champion of some sport of 1979.

      Deutscher Verband für Versehrtensport (for handicapped people), Medal for the champion(s). Don‘t know more about that, just did a quick google search.

      Yes it a medal from the german federation if I would bet I would bet on radsport (cycling)

      A banana for scale would be nice, from this it looks the size of a penny. It’s obviously a sports medal for the East German Champion from 1979. But not sure what sport.

      Basically the front „Deutscher Verband für Versehrtensport“ means German Association of Disabled Sports. The back means Champions of the DDR 1979. Unfortunately neither the coin nor the Ebay listing mentions what exact sport.
