> “There was a moment where him and Charlize Theron were whispering to each other, and it took like 10 takes to get the shot,” Goldberg said, who directed the Scorsese episode. “And then we got it and I was like, ‘What were you whispering about?’ He was like, ‘I knew you were doing this wrong, but I didn’t wanna be a backseat director, so I just didn’t say anything.’ And I was like, ‘Well, we could have used that time, but I appreciate that you didn’t wanna manhandle us.’”

It was so well played out it actually broke my heart at the end. The Studio is a delightful and at many times (in the best way) an anxiety inducing show.
I’m surprised they seem shocked Scorsese is a great actor when he has one of the best roles and monologues in Taxi Driver.
The Studio is one of my favorite shows to come out in a long time. So many great characters and cameos. Especially Marty, Ron Howard and Zoe Kravitz.
Seth’s character Matt really gives me Larry David and Michael Scott vibes. He just keeps screwing up and is frustrating, but you root for him anyway.
The show was amazing and unique, but the beautiful building used as HQ for Continental Studios is the real star of the show for me. Does anyone know if it’s a Frank Lloyd Wright building?
