Ich habe noch nie gesehen, dass die Menschen in einem Land, in dem ich in TBH war, so sehr darum kümmert, und sie haben einigen Leuten sogar gesagt, dass sie Plastik in Papier gesteckt und sie über die Umwelt unterrichtet haben.

Hmm no.. They look for bottles to recycle. They get like 10 cents for each
I have noticed that we in fact care a lot about our environment and we take littering seriously. I guess it’s the best example of education from an early age, because from a very young age all children participate in litter collecting events, and if a person/kid is seen littering he/she is publicly shunned. And most of us has formed this habit of carrying empty packets or cups with us till we find a litter box. However, recycling is still not a habit, but I think if we start using the same approach (i.e., making it natural from an early age), it would be a great success. As it happened with bottle recycling system – I cannot imagine myself now throwing bottles away without recycling.
