Gestern gab es in Haasrode ein Stich. Die ukrainische Frau und ihre Tochter wurden getötet. Die einzige Person, die überlebte, war ein Sohn (16), der in der Schule war. Der Vater einer Familie befindet sich derzeit an der Front und schützt sein Zuhause. Und die Familie kam vor 3 Jahren hierher, um Kinder zu schützen. Weißt du, was mit ihrem Sohn passieren wird? Und an wen muss ich mich kontaktieren, wenn ich ihm helfen möchte? Leider kann ich ihn nicht fördern, aber vielleicht kann ich ihm zumindest mit Geld oder SMTH helfen

Heartwrenching to hear, I can’t imagine how the father will feel. I hope the son can be near some family soon.
Hey there, I’m from Haasrode so I will try to explain the situation. First of all I kinda know the boy. He has contact with (I think 2, but at least 1) Flemish family here. Also they often had visits from other Ukrainian families, I don’t know if these are his family or just friends, but he does know some people here. Last time I heard he was with the police. I don’t think there’s much you can do, except for wait. There are people who can help them if it’s needed, whom he knows.
What a tragedy. Poor kid, 16 year war refugee biological father at the frontlines, mother and sister killed.
