I think if the Dems get in during 2028, they have to make an extremely hard free trade push both to fix the U.S’s trade policy & diplomatically a part of a diplomatic charm offensive/apology tour to woo people back from Trump. Maintaining a weakened version of the tariffs like they did after 2020 won’t be enough this time.
