      Anyone who looked at this objectively (not in the cult) could see this was coming.

      The headline is not borne out by the article. Ocasio-Cortez is not taking any victory lap, because she knows there has been no victory. We are losing the war with Russia, and there are Russian assets in all three branches of our government. Both Trump and Musk have extensive business ties with Vladimir Putin, and their public spat should not reassure us.

      I could have been sleeping under a rock for the last hundred years and read whatever publication and said yeah this is a dumpster fire. Trump only loves himself, and will use anyone and everything to his benefit. Really, he fired his first administration three times over. But he’s got to be the TACO MAN! I’m sorry village people, but this is what I hear every time I say it! Definitely not macho man!

      Dems are still stupid to celebrate.

      Musk and DOGE still inflicted countless harm, and now they are letting Trump and Republicans seperate themselves from the responsibility.

      And they have no strategy, while the country is being run into the ground and civil institutions are being taken over by loyalist lawbreaker.

      Elon didn’t donate hundreds of millions to elect Trump. He did it for three reasons:

      1. To get JD Vance one heartbeat from the Oval Office. Vance is a Thiel acolyte, and all three are all-in on Curtis Yarvin’s vision for destroying democracy in the US and worldwide. Trump is a useful idiot whose usefulness is inversely proportional to the acceleration of his cognitive decline.
      2. To get all of those pesky investigations into his businesses quashed (probably should have waited until they could remove Trump for this little tiff).
      3. To route more government contracts to his company (same).

      Was expecting this falling out, but the speed of it makes me wonder if Trump is declining so fast they need to move up the timeline for his removal.
