After all the heavy solar storm activity this week it might be LEo satellites burning up on reentry (ie starlinks seem to come down regularly after a heavy cme interaction with earth) but an actual position and trajectory of these burning re-entry objects would assist in confirming a failed ballistic launch.
Funny, but not funny. That was likely targeted at a built up area of Ukrainian civilians.

Tom Clancy couldn’t have predicted this level of incompetence. Imagine him trying to add something like this to red storm rising, it would seem so hilariously incompetent that it wouldn’t be believable. And yet here we are.
Really, this week can’t get better if this is really an oreshnik. It is the only thing putin could use for retaliation. And it fails. Millions of dollars wasted for fireworks. Russias myth of an undefeatable military going down the drain even further. Incredible week.
