Funny.
Back in the days where you still could see the holder of a domain on nic.ch I checked on a website that offered fraudulent services here in my region.
However the name and address they had in nic.ch’s database where clearly fake (the street didn’t even exist in that city).
So I wrote an email to Infomaniak (who was the registrar of that domain) to inform them that the address they have for their customer is obviously fake.
The replied with a snappy mail, telling me that they can hardly be expected to check the data of their domain customers and that it’s not unusual that false data is published there.
Not a law. It’s a „Verordnung“ which is essentially an executive order and is not subject to Parliamentary approval, or a referdum.
That is the problem.
Yep moving my assets off. I don‘t want to support a company who‘s in favor of that proposed change.
I need to move my stuff from them..
They also started automatically including „sent by the ethical mail“ or something at the end of eaxh mail you send.
Highly annoying and now also highly ironic. Ethical my ass….
