Hallo R/Belgien! Extra Long Shot Post.
Ich wende Sie an Sie als Teil eines Projekts, um die legendäre Stavelot Corner, einen wichtigen Abschnitt der ursprünglichen Spa-Francorchamps-Rennstrecke (Layout von 1939–1978), direkt außerhalb der Mitte des Stavelots (1939–1978) wiederherzustellen.
Die Biegung wurde genau so umgebaut, wie sie in den 60er Jahren aussah-komplett mit korrekten Werbetafeln, Strukturen und Atmosphäre am Rennen. Neben Motorsport versuchen wir, ein Stück belgisches Erbe nachzubauen, das die internationale Renngeschichte prägte.
Für die Einweihung und dauerhafte Ausstellung sammeln wir Geschichten, Fotos und Erinnerungen an Menschen, die die Gegend kannten, Rennen beobachteten, in der Nähe arbeiteten oder einfach den Nervenkitzel der alten Strecke spürten. Wenn Sie (oder Ihre Eltern, Großeltern…) etwas zu teilen haben, würden wir es gerne in unsere Ausstellung und vor Ort einbeziehen.
Sie können hier antworten oder mir direkt senden. Wir suchen auch nach Zeugnissen in Französisch. In Nederlands OOK Welkom! Je mehr, desto merrier.

Great initiative! Nothing to share, but glad to see this recognized as historically important.
That’s nice. First I thought it was on the current track because if I’m not mistaken there’s still a corner named stavelot, but that would obviously pose problems with the sponsors of FIA events. I’ll definitely visit when I’m in the region.

Nice, Stavelot corner also appears in Grand Prix (1966), highlighting the danger even spectators faced in those days
