Type One Energy has successfully completed the initial design review of its Infinity Two fusion power plant in the US state of Tennessee, marking a significant step towards realising a commercially viable fusion energy source.
The review, which was based on the only implementable, peer-reviewed physics basis for a fusion power plant, supports a potential project with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) using stellarator technology.
Lets hope this is the first step to ending coal power production. Solar will not get us where we need to be with AI and robotics.
