One of the reasons she’s doing so well right now is she’s staying in a lane she’s always succeeded at, but she’s been desperate to be seen as a serious actress and Oscar worthy, personally I don’t see it, less we forget Liz and Dick? But now that she’s sober, and also going to have a bit more choice I hope she finds scripts that are decent, part of all her flop dramas were not entirely her fault they were overall bad movies.
She needed to do the hallmark /Netflix movies to prove to people that she can be insured and show up to set on a regular basis. It’s never been a lack of talent. It’s always been a lack of discipline/unhealed trauma.
She is so damn good in them though, but fly high sister

Don’t know what to say, but that ship has sailed since Georgia Rule. With her past still lingering over her, I doubt that she could be taken seriously. She has the ability, YES!, but marked with partying, drugs, lack luster responsibility, drama behind the scenes, and delaying of filming, not to mention of her past of trashing of hotels and diva-like attitude, I wouldn’t hire her either. Talented, yes, but also the lack of Box Office appeal.
