Hallo! Wir bleiben 3 Tage in der Nähe des Jostedalsbreen -Nationalparks und suchen nach einem Rat, wohin wir gehen sollen. Ich weiß, dass Mitte Juni geführte Wanderungen an Gletschern noch nicht möglich sind, sodass wir nach einer Alternative suchen. Nichts Hardcore, nur Ihre Top -3 -Wanderungen für jemanden, der einen 14 -tägigen Roadtrip durch Norwegen unternimmt.

*On* the glacier, June is peak skiing season.
Also the area surrounding the glacier will have a lot of snow in June. To the degree that it will be hard to see where the glacier start, and what’s just a snow covered mountainside.
There is currently more than 4m of (less than 1 year old) snow on the glacier. And ~2m snow at the same elevation in the surrounding area.
*Please* consider going to another area if you’re interested in hiking. When certain activities are only available some parts of the year, there is usually a reason for that.
Flatbrehytta (steap hike), Nigardsbreen (easy hike) and maybe Molden (semi easy hike)
