      Hey r/politics, Nikol from USA TODAY. Donald Trump said he wants the „names and countries“ of every international student enrolled at Harvard University, another step in the president’s crackdown on the Ivy League school.

      He made the request in a Truth Social post May 25, days after a federal judge blocked the Trump administration’s effort to bar the university from enrolling anyone in the United States on a student visa.

      Trump didn’t immediately say how the federal government would use that information, or which part of his administration would manage such lists. USA TODAY has reached out to the White House for more information.

      I love how people still think that he got as far as thinking how that information would be handled. Nope, he just wants a country, a name, a skin tone and probably a hair color.

      The WH probably was like *He said what?* and is now on a Sunday working on a concept of a plan as to what they would do with that information to make any sense of all this.

      The Department of State and Department of Homeland Security already have this information. They would have to have applied for a visa or some form of immigration benefit. If not, then they’re a citizen and not an international student.

      I hope people are focusing less on Trump now and more on his enablers. For whatever the reason this country has decided Trump is a king, I get that. But every person in his orbit needs to pay a severe price for his criminality. If we have to sit and watch this happen, then we need to go after everyone participating in this illegal activity.
