    1. > “Especially this year where it feels like there’s maybe, possibly, a lot of change next year,” Thompson explained. “You want everyone to stay forever, knowing that people may be making decisions this summer…it’s always like you want your kids to stay young.”

      > “You just never know what the future holds,” he said. “I don’t want to be in the way of someone else or I don’t want to be the stale old man riding the same thing. That doesn’t really happen that much at ‘SNL’ but there’s no guarantees, I guess.”

I have never laughed at a joke told by Kenan Thompson because he has never told a joke. I’ve been watching since All-That. What are hour favorite Kenan moments? Please share.

It’s going to be yet another season of cast members glaring into the camera while wearing Spirit Halloween-tier outfits while half-assing lines, and yet another season of Weekend Updates that amount to the writers paraphrasing zingers they read on Twitter throughout the week.

I keep trying to give the show a chance because at this point I feel like I’m getting gaslit into thinking the show’s this amazing institution because of the suspicious amount of press it gets, but it’s just so much unfunny slop and it doesn’t have to be like that.

Kenan has been on the show since 2003 when SNL was in its 29th season. That dude has been a fixture.

I don’t understand how people find SNL funny, sure sometimes there are great jokes but most of it is just meh.
