While there are places that genuinely rescue animals and give them a nice life, after doing a safari and seeing animals roaming free in their natural habitat, you realise how bad zoos can be
Prisons for animals shouldn’t still be a thing in 2025, in the UK.
Good. Places like Marwell Zoo still had painfully small enclosures, despite trying to show all the ‚great conservation‘ they were doing.
Zoos should be socially unacceptable.
If you want kids to experience animals and nature take them for a walk in the woods.
Aquariums too hopefully. Some of those fish are cramped, overcrowded and look sad.
