    1. Wow, that’s a rough day for him. Wonder how this will impact his future plans.

    2. Rulings only matter if they are adhered to and if the consequences for not adhering to them are enforced.

That is to say: I’ll believe these matter when I see it.

He is really the best at losing isn’t he and yet still he gets away with everything never having to be held to account

    4. Did anybody else think for a split second that Trump suffered a triple heart attack?

Kilmer is still in the Venezuelan prison despite the court ordering Trump to bring him back. The courts have no power anymore.

Damn it’s depressing that literally every top comment in here is a variation of “court rulings mean nothing when you ignore them.” I mean, it’s true, it’s just depressing that one of the branches of government effectively doesn’t exist and we’re not even 10% into this guy’s term. Can we please get some actual, physical enforcement of these orders? Pretty please with democracy on top?

Am I the only one who hoped it said “suffers triple bypass” instead of legal blows?

Does anyone have a legit count of just how many times in court judges have told his administration no?

Cause I feel like it’s a couple every day

    9. I mean, the turf has 34 felony convictions but didn’t even have to pay a fine. Until he’s actually held responsible, these decisions don’t mean much

I think it’s worth considering that this doesn’t represent a victory against Trump, but rather one more step towards the inevitable day when he starts dismantling the courts. As long as he can ignore them, he’ll continue to do so. At some point there will be a real clash, with a marshal physically interfering with his people’s actions. And that’s when it will break down. And he has more than enough support to overcome whatever tepid response the establishment might give.

Suffering a blow means facing consequences which no one his his cabinet has seen.

    12. U have to tell him it’s similar to a triple bogey for him to understand

He is virtually immune to any law ruling… this does not matter or change anything…

I started reading that headline, and my brain interpreted it as “Donald Trump suffers massive stroke”. That’s just where my mind went. That would be *tragic*.

Does anyone else read these and think what’s the point? Back when there was some semblance of decency this would matter, but now our checks & balances seem broken. Or so far corrupted that I’m running out of hope.

    16. „Donald Trump suffers…“
The most effective click bait phrase, from my perspective. Works every time.

Not the first time he’s gotten glizzy glucked by three people in the same day. It is the first time it happened by people who were over 18 tho.

The courts are the only branch we have available to fight back with, and he’ll constantly lose there because he’s bat-shit insane … that is until the cases get taken to the Supreme Court, where the majority is likewise bat-shit insane.

How have any of these rulings served to restrain or diminish his powers? They haven’t? Okay.

Corruption of the Executive Branch by ignoring the Judicial Branch is only possible because the Legislative Branch isn’t doing its job.

The Republicants in control of the Congress and Senate are willingly allowing Trump to ignore the provisions in our constitution about the balance to power.

JD Vance has even stated that the Supreme Courts actions to try and restore that balance of power isn’t „legal“.

He says the judicial rulings against Trump have no „legal“ grounds to prevent Trump from doing ANYTHING he wants.

Trump keeps saying that he „isn’t sure“ when asked if he needs to follow the constitution.

      WTF

Mussolini declared he wasn’t required to follow Italy’s constitution how did that work out?

Putin declared he wasn’t required to follow Russia’s constitution how did that work out?

Adolf Hitler declared he wasn’t required to follow Germany’s constitution how did that work out?

Franco declared he wasn’t required to follow Spain’s constitution how did that work out?

Augusto Pinochet declared he wasn’t required to follow Chili’s constitution how did that work out?

These instances highlight the fragility of democracy and how once lost is nearly impossible to restore while the authoritarian leader is part of the land of the living.

It is nearly unheard of that an authoritarian once established will voluntarily give up power.

As the British historian Lord Ashton once said back in the 1800’s

      „Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely“

These headlines are so stupid. He didn’t suffer anything. They need to start reporting this as the courts upholding the constitution or something to that effect. Trump hasn’t faced a consequence of his actions during his presidency, and likely never will.
