By refusing to approve the installation of this plaque the GOP are sending an appalling message to every single police officer in the country.
And that message is, „You can risk your lives to protect us and even lose your lives while protecting us, but we are not going to honor your courage or sacrifice.“
Capital police should resign in mass.
The same legislators whose lives were saved by capitol police now want to deny them honor? They are despicable cowards who all deserve to lose their seats
Hang it anyway.
Make them tear it down.
Hold press conference. Repeat. Escalate with statues.
Fight and push past them like they don’t matter.

Dems should take the plaque and install it in an area controlled by Dems…. office building or something.

The Democrats should get hats with a picture of the plaque on the front and wear them to each congressional session. They should also make sure the plaque is respectfully, and properly displayed.
Those police officers gave a lot of theirselves to protect both Republicans and Democrats on J6. Now they suffer; they and their families. What A shitty attitude some Americans feel it’s OK and proper. Feels like the approval of J6 all over.

To be fair the plaque is already somewhat out of date; their heroism was forgotten almost immediately when the powers that be decided to only bother with the pawns and let the terrorist leaders continue to participate in government. The issue was then dug up and buried even deeper when the figurehead of all these traitors decided to pardon all the pawns as well. I’m not at all surprised and deeply sickened, which has become par for the course when it comes to the regime.
