That’s like Afghan guy poking an IED level stupidity.
When you know your enemy is a bunch of ill-equipped and starving looters and scavengers it must be pretty damn easy to set up IEDs. Knowing they’re going to come through trying to take everything they can get their hands on.
Remember one doc of Afghanistan where they were going through villages. They were saying you didn’t do anything you weren’t supposed to do without good reason. Opening a door, moving a chair, kicking over a flower pot. If it wasn’t necessary you didn’t touch it. Because you didn’t know what they had booby trapped. Before they ran out of there hearing you coming
