If this is the line of Carney’s government, I think its a huge step in the right direction. I love to hear that this will be a government of action.
Appointing a serious person and heavy hitter like Hodgson to Energy and sending him to Calgary to talk about getting things built and doing it quickly, is frankly refreshing as hell.
I have high hopes for the Carney Liberals and I really hope they deliver.
Oil patch must be absolutely delighted to have a guy in government that repeats their talking points like a trained seal.

The only one here doing something to reduce emissions is China by building EVs that reduce demand for oil.
By increasing the amount of oil and gas for export Canada is lowering fossil fuel prices, encouraging people to continue to burn fossil fuels instead of switching to alternatives, and continuing to put more emissions into the atmosphere and continuing to destroy our way of life.
Actions speak louder than words, the Liberals sure like to talk but when it comes time to act they always fall flat.
