Trump does not want iPhones to be made in US. He wants a bribe.
When he names a company it means “give me money”.
Someone has told him Apple has big margins so he’s basically just treating this as a company-specific tax, or tribute.

Well, an iPhone made in the USA will be a lot more expensive than one made in China or India with a 25% tariff, and it’ll take at least 5 years to get a factory set up, as if that’ll happen.
