    1. By far the best summary here instead of all of the “so far” credulous morons (Hi Nina) are putting out regarding this latest judicial abomination

      “her conservative colleagues”?

Bullshit, in enabling people like Trump, they’re the terrorists that “conservatives” have long seen in any who dare to oppose them.

    3. The only thing more embarrassing than this judicial clusterfuck is the laughable pretense they’re actually deliberating anything. Kagan’s dissent is a desperate flare shot from the deck of a sinking ship piloted by bootlicking morons.

There’s some quote about watering a tree that the right loves… I’m sure they’re all about that with our God emperor

I’m admittedly let’s say…. undereducated when it comes to these types of things. That said, could someone tell why this is the end of our world (which I assumed died Nov.7, 2023)?

    6. „Supreme Court Kills The Independent Agency. Trump Is King“ The conversion from a mostly partisan SCOTUS to unelected domestic terrorists in robes is all but complete.

    7. Setting aside the blatantly fabricated rulings of this court:

We’ve been skating by on good faith interpretations of the laws for long cycles of American history.

A frustrating theme of recent rulings, including lower courts, is they’re forced to acknowledge semantic word play, grammar usage, or a condition that wasn’t in the law because no one assumed it was even necessary.

It’s like a predatory ‚didn’t read the EULA correctly suckers‘ without a good faith rejection of the manipulation.

Rubber stamping executive decisions while simultaneously passing on deciding other executive actions that are questionable at the least is not a far distance from a dissolved court.

Trump taking over the Fed if successful will be the beginning of the end of the dollar as reserve currency. The feds independence and stewardship of the economy is why the USA has been so successful in attracting investment. Trump with his radical policies basically being in charge of the Fed will not sit well with investors.

    10. America has no kings. This “revolution” **(COUP)** will not be bloodless

If he’s a king, I’m sure France can let us borrow some of their shiny, sharp hardware.

Ya this is not good but pales in comparison to the provision in the Big Beautiful Bill (that just passed the House) that basically says the Executive Branch can essentially ignore contempts of court by the Judicial Branch. That is actually one of the last bastions of our checks & balances and is about to be quietly put down.

These agencies should never have been put in the executive branch. The Constitution puts the laws in the hands of Congress. Administration of those laws should never have left the Legislative Branch.

All that work to get to the supreme court…just to suck the cock of an old man.

Was it worth it conservative justices?

    15. This guy is a fucking cancer.

Nobody is coming to save us. The people who were supposed to defend our way of life have all surrendered.

The only thing that can rescue this republic now is *huge* masses of people, working together, in the streets.

I’m sure the justices will rule the same way when there’s a democratic president, right?

    17. Turns out republicans are the ones who “legislate from the bench”

They decide cases based on desired outcomes and fabricate merits or create new law whole cloth from thin air.

Democrats MUST take notice. Power is to be used not rationed.

    18. Lofttroll2018 on

What is the point of even having these agencies if they’re going to be independent in name only?

    19. Honky_Stonk_Man on

It kills me that so called originalists don’t acknowledge precedent. How very liberal of these conservative judges.

    20. unitary executive for republican presidents, major question doctrine for democratic presidents

The problem as it has always been, is heath care is tied to employment. We are hostage to our employers.
