I really appreciate my water company emailing me „great advice“ like catching water I wash veg in to water plants or turning my garden into a drought resistant, desert style rockery (I exaggerate, a bit) when the leak down the road that provides a free wheel wash to hundreds of vehicles a day hasn’t been fixed in months and they’re raking in the cash from my increased water bill.

Or severely limiting the profit but allowing it a few % over the cover-cost for the sole purpose of it going straight back into the treasury for further development of other areas that need funding.

Water, electricity & gas. Basic stuff we all need to survive. Shouldn’t be something someone can get rich off.
