As a teenager I thought IRA/UK war is eternal and then it just stopped. And when I heard of [Good Friday agreement](https://education.niassembly.gov.uk/post-16/snapshots-devolution/belfast-agreementgood-friday-agreement-1998). And then [Ronin](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0122690/) movie happened. 1998 was a good year. Just it took ~ten generations to achieve the peace and for nine of them the war was eternal. I feel lucky to belong the the last one watching the end of the two hundreds years long war + to see the next millennia on top of that.
