Cory Booker is corrupt, and this proves it. Kushner helped fund his mayoral campaign two decades ago, so now the senator is paying him back. Booker was the only Democrat to vote for this convicted criminal.
Oh, sure, Cory made a big deal out of his filibuster because it was on TV. His vote to confirm Kushner will only be known to those who follow politics closely, and he knows it. He makes a big show when he knows people will see it, and he behaves like a typical, corrupt politician when he thinks he can get away with it.
I hope he faces a primary challenger, and I hope he loses. Right now, Democrats should be obstructing everything Trump wants—on principle. This vote would have been easy; just vote no on the convicted criminal’s nomination, but Booker couldn’t do it.
He’s not right for this era. Dump his ass, New Jersey.
