Was ist das für ein Ding, das auf unserem Klingelglockenzeichen gesetzt wurde? Seit gestern hat jemand dieses schwarze Ding auf unsere Namen auf den Bellknopf gestellt. Hat jemand eine Idee, was das bedeuten könnte?
Übrigens hatten wir auch jemanden, der am späten Abend (22 Uhr) klingelte, und wir antworteten nicht, da wir nicht wussten, wer es war.

The ringing was from when someone put it there… and pressed it on. Must be a prank or harassment
That’s super scary… plz let us know if you find out what it is…
I’m gonna go on a whim and say that if someone rang late at night and no one answered, then someone placed the black strip to know whether the premises is vacant. If no one is there, or on holiday, then the label won’t be removed, but as soon as the homeowner notices it, they’ll likely remove it.
It sounds similar to people putting zip ties and string on bicycles to find out if they’re being used or not.
This is of course all an assumption. But very strange indeed.
If that is your door bell, then remove it asap no questions asked. I cannot imagine any kind of official or whatever reason to do this. Like it would literally hinder any official business being conducted.

Alright that’s what I was already thinking. I remove it asap and I already let the police know. They can’t really help for now but include our street in their patrols more frequently
