We shouldn’t blame Biden for everything. After all, the ENTIRE Democratic Party has kept people his age in power and doing nothing for years. We can spread the wealth of blame all around.

That article is not a defense for Biden, its only another smear campaign based on Biden behaving like a civilized, law abiding president that never had the magical power to foretell the future.
He is the spitting image of our gerontocracy. He isnt the Original Sin of American politics but dear God we need to get rid of our dinosaurs. The party is so damn out of touch with their voter base.
YES he is …..creating more jobs, low inflation, lower medicine prices ——— NO FREE JETS or enriching his family, image BIDEN TAKING CARE OF AMERICA he should have followed Trump wrecking world trade.
It’s unfortunate and maddening that the Democrats find themselves at this point. A loss is always going to cause some reflection, and when the result ushers in an authoritarian while Congress capitulates, it’s going to be a rough process. Now we add in cancer to the conversation in an era rife with conspiracy thinking and we’re into bizarre territory.
This said, scapegoating Biden is actually too easy a path for some truth and reconciliation. By and large, it was a successful presidency and Biden actually gets less credit than he deserves for it. OK. And there were obvious political mistakes, and much of this we know because we have the benefit of hindsight. But little of this is on Biden as an individual outside of a bit of ego.
Biden’s handlers, sure. They deserve more than a raised eyebrow. But the Democratic Party needs to take a long look at messaging, positioning, and how to effectively counter this regime. A quick look at the recent past can provide some guidance but any such loss is going to cast a party into disarray and a battle for the direction. We see that now – centrists vs. leftists – as there is no party leader. But thinking we can just blame Biden and move on misses the need for a much deeper reflection.
To quote President Camacho, „Now I understand everyone’s shit’s emotional right now.“ But the Democrats need to figure this out, and fast, as a decade of MAGA will quite literally be the end of this democracy, if they even need that much time. Figuring out how to move forward might require a 10-minute discussion about the Biden administration and some acceptance of collective blame. Ultimately though, that blame is on the voters. And it’s on us to fix it.
Tell that to the dumb maga assholes that believe everything Fox News tells them.
Nor Obama or Hillary or fill-in-the-blank… Trump never accepts blame for anything, just credit. That alone should be undeniable proof that the guy is full of shit.
The left needs to stop getting tricked into blaming their leaders for what Republicans do. The right stands resolute with their leaders no matter what and we must do the same if we are serious about winning. This is no time for division and purity tests.
While it’s not the entire reason we have Trump, the people around Biden who knew about his cognitive issues and never spoke up deserve some blame. Depending on how advanced Biden’s decline was (for instance, if he was mostly lucid and realized he was losing a step), he also deserves some blame.
We are allowed to acknowledge the ways that the democratic establishment (and corrupt party politics in general) have led us here. It doesn’t mean we’re dunking on an old, sick man.
The faster the Democratic base dump their MAGA-like obsession for their loser candidates, the better. This guy wanted to be president so bad despite his condition that he got the whole democratic party to screw over Sanders after he was screwed over by Clinton, then he risked losing this whole country to Trump by wanting to be president even longer

Every trump admin problem is Biden’s fault
Two things can be true: Joe Biden is a rare, warm, caring man who genuinely loves people and had numerous accomplishments in his political career.
He also should have stepped aside in 2023.
Two other things can be true: the Democratic Party fielded a weak primary of candidates in 2020, the party and voters got scared only Biden could beat Trump and he was elected.
The Democratic Party has gradually lost the working class and hasn’t found a compelling messenger to win them back yet. Biden should have been that guy but he fell apart. The Democrats should be kicking the ass of an obvious authoritarian like Trump but they don’t know who their coalition is anymore to put forth a coherent message.
Trump bad. Biden bad too, but Trump still bad. He bad and probably worse and in power right now.
Is that simple enough?

Please broadcast to all Progressives and Bernie Bros. At some point the blame game needs to stop and we start fighting against Trump and Congress instead of Biden.
And secondly, how come guys like Trump, Biden and Bernie always get to go on and blame their loss and rigging and regurgitating it for years while Hillary Clinton was told to shut up and deal with her loss in 2016 and even mocked in 2019 for speaking out about it. And Harris can’t even talk about her loss or she gets all the leftwing hate. Double standards-guys can be sore losers for years. Women have to „suck it up“ and deal with it.
He’s one of the most prominent and significant players who promulgated this system of wealth inequality, never ending war, and regulatory capture that has destroyed the nation. Not only that, but his profound selfishness and entitlement that led him to run for a second term while he was on death’s goddamn door handed the reins of government to a proven fascist. Absolutely and unequivocally fuck Joe Biden.
He absolutely is the #1 scapegoat. His hubris is the primary reason we have a 2nd Trump turn.
The oldest president in the history of the country thought he could run for a 2nd term, solely because his party didn’t get crushed in the 2022 midterms against a wave of idiots in the GOP.
I haven’t forgotten about the 2022 GOP slate of candidates. Remember such great candidates like Doug Mastriano, Herschel Walker, and Blake Masters?
Even if you take the Israel Palestine genocide off of the table (you shouldn’t, he’s awful for allowing that to continue unabated), he royally screwed the party in thinking he could run again. I have zero doubt in my mind that had Democrats had a normal primary cycle w/o Biden, you’d have a Democrat in office, and probably a Democratic House as well.
I would say Biden is merely the symptom, and that the Democrats‘ whole approach to modern politics is the real disease, but symptoms dont have agency or choice. He did. If he viewed himself as capable enough to run the country, he’s capable enough to at least try to be anything more than the absolute milquetoast neoliberal that he is. He didn’t rise to the moment and be what the American people needed. Same with Harris. Same with the Democrat machine.
We *really* need to stop viewing these politicians as celebrities or characters we route for, and start treating them live the public servants they are.

I’ll take my down votes but I truly believe that Biden snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by making an exit 110 days from election day.
Any Democrat who won the primary would have won the General or he would have won if he’d held on. Harris did as well anyone would have in that position (which isn’t to say I think she’d have won an honest primary) but 100 days is not enough time for a campaign.
