      This is honestly worse than some of the people celebrating his cancer diagnosis as some sort of karmic retribution, and this is coming from a guy who doesn’t exactly have much in the way of love for Biden in the first place as someone who voted Uncommitted and didn’t want him to run in 2024.

      At least in those cases, they weren’t trying to drum up a conspiracy over a prostate cancer diagnosis! JFC.

      Prostrate cancer can turn aggressive very quickly. My wife is an MD who insisted I start getting my PSA checked a age 50 when it was about 1. It rose steadily and I started getting symptoms of and enlarged prostate but benign prostatitis creates the same flow problems. It wasn’t until I was 68 the score doubled between annual physicals from 3 to 6.

      What I learned in my journey with Prostate cancer is that a doubling of the PSA level in one year is the point where insurance will pay for the MRI and MRI guided biopsy needed to determine how aggressive it is—the Gleason score. Then a radioactive dye PET scan is done to detect if it has metastasized to the bone but arthritis creates the same reaction on the scan so then more MRIs of areas which light up like a Christmas tree are bone cancer or arthritis.

      It is possible Biden’s doubled and metastasized between check ups at which point it is beyond a surgical removal cure and radiation / chemo is the treatment option both to kill the cancer in the gland and lymph nodes and the bones.

      In my case it was caught before metastasizing. I had the option of robotic surgery or hormone/radiation treatment. I chose the former hoping it would deal with it, and it appeared to initially. But after year the PSA which had been undetectable after removal of the prostate rose to .2 which post surgery is when insurance will pay for another round of PET scan / MRI to pinpoint the source and then necessary hormone + radiation.

      What learned is that testosterone is like rocket fuel for prostate cancer and Lupron, the hormone you are started on six months before radiation drops the T level to zero — chemical castration—which causes loss of muscle mass and energy level. My reoccurrence was in a lymph node in my groin and I had 38 daily radiation treatments the most difficult part being needing a full bladder which required drinking 32oz of water timing it with the treatment which if delayed… causes leakage problems 🙁 then I had to stay on the Lupron for 18 more months and thankfully after that four year ordeal my PSA was back to undetectable, T level back to normal for my age, losing weight gained and restoring muscle mass lost and feeling great.
