      He’s not wrong.

      People wonder why so many Germans were quiet during the holocaust. Well, it’s happening now. A genocide is going on today and many people are quiet about it, excuse it, or deny it.

      The vast majority of people in Gaza — 93 percent — are facing crisis levels of food insecurity, and Sen. Chris Van Hollen said that the United States is “complicit” in their hunger.

      When asked on CBS’s Face the Nation about photographs of starving children in Gaza, Van Hollen said, “It’s very hard to look at those pictures. And the United States has been complicit. President Trump was in the region and really did nothing, said virtually nothing about what’s happening in Gaza, which is on fire.”

      I appreciate Van Hollen for speaking out about this. This is the same administration that abruptly cut off USAID and caused people in Africa to starve to death, so it’s no surprise that they’re totally fine and okay with another group of people starving.

      Unlike members of the MAGA cult who never criticize Trump I was critical of President Biden. I was extremely disappointed that he partnered up with Netanyahu in the killing of people in Gaza and the destruction of the city.
