    1. The golden age of copperplate engraving was the 16th and 17th century. The technique was used to reproduce images: maps, portraits, landscapes, illustrations, etc.

      Engraving is not my full-time job. I work in the office 9-5, then in the evenings, once kids have been put to bed, I engrave and print my plates.

      Engraving this work took ~4 months of engraving almost every evening.It is titled „Terra Nocta“. I really enjoy the process, it’s slow, meditative and helps me unwind after work.
