>In the last seven days, the ETH/BTC price ratio has surged 38% from its lowest level since January 2020. The current price ratio has been historically associated with ETH price bottoms, which have preceded altseasons. Still, the metric needs to rally above its 365-day moving average before ETH can record a new and sustainable leg against BTC.

tldr; Ethereum’s price metrics suggest a potential altcoin season as ETH/BTC price ratio surged 38% from its lowest level since January 2020. CryptoQuant reports ETH may outperform BTC, supported by its undervaluation zone and increased spot trading volume relative to BTC. Historical trends show similar undervaluation periods led to ETH outperforming BTC. Additionally, ETH faces lower sell pressure and higher ETF allocations, signaling bullish momentum. However, ETH must surpass its 365-day moving average for sustained growth against BTC.

Not new to crypto, but never been holding during an altsason. Has anybody here experienced an „altsason“ before? I know what it means, and some of the metrics to watch for that historically preceed altsason. But what is the daily price action like? Is it like…. up Up UP everyday, until it’s not; or, is it still a series of up and down days until altsason is over?
I’ve been accumulating and waiting to be part of it this time. I just don’t wanna get caught with my pants down once it starts. Like by selling to early or even too late for that matter.
What charts or metrics do we use to help determine the top of altsason?

No. This is the final dead cat bounce, now it can all go to $0. Don’t be left holding the bag

I’m leaving my small alt coin bags just out of FOMO but from here on out I’m investing in BTC and ETFs

I mean.. which altcoin hasn’t been under-valued against Bitcoin since 2021?! everytime you buy the dip against bitcoin, you’ve been punished for 4 years straight. give me a higher high and a higher low in the charts, then we’ll talk.
The only coins that have outperformed bitcoin in the last few years are handful coins that have arrived post-2022 like Sui

I’m betting on a big alt season starting in June.
