I have a libertarian friend that was telling me how concerned he was with government waste. As an example, the worst thing that he could think to come up was how we had „cheese vaults“ and how all of that food could go toward feeding people instead. I wonder how he’s gonna feel about his vote if I send him this.
Republican voters have no sense. This food has already been paid for. How does letting it go to waste save us money? This food came from American suppliers. The money is circulating in our economy. They’re so against handouts when they’re not the recipient. It’s just pure backwards logic.
Why do Christians vote for Republicans? All Jesus talked about was helping the poor and people in need.
