Hallo. Danke

South of Steyr you’ll find the Phyrn-Priel-Region with the Nationalpark Kalkalpen. My personal favorites in that area are the Gleinkersee (beautiful mountain lake) and the Dr.-Vogelgesang-Klamm.

Check out their website for details:

      Have fun in upper Austria!

    2. All the lakes in that region are really nice. I recommand the „Irrsee“.

Schiederweihersee in Hinterstoder. Very close to where you are. It was elected most beautiful place in Austria in 2018.

    4. There‘s a lot of cool stuff on the way but it depends very much on the exact route you‘re taking. For starters I‘d recommend the western route where you get to the mountains approximately at Windischgarsten. There is an awesome hidden mountain lake with a campingspot right at the shore called „Gleinkersee“. From there you could hike through „Vogelsang Klamm“ towards crossing the mountains towards Admont. They have a beautiful Library that‘s worth a look.

Make sure Not to miss Graz and the beautiful hills in the south of Austria before crossing towards Slowenia.

Sadly I‘m not too familiar with the Region you‘re at right now but Inspotted an interesting waterfall on Google maps.

      Anyway have a great trip.
