Good because these ships are our only real anti missile capacity.
The type 45s coming fully loaded with Aster-30s now make them seriously formidable for missile defence. Just a shame we ended up only building 6 of them rather than 12 when we had the chance.
Yay.
Bearing in mind squaddies used to call javelin rockets ‚the porshe‘ because that’s how much they cost per rocket- imagine a sane ‚elite‘ that put that same cost per rocket into a salary of a diplomat… or even 2 rockets worth per annum? Forget war. It just makes the rich even more powerful.
