Okay, sehr alberne und dumme Frage. Aber wenn jemand heute an Antwerpen Central über die obersten Zugböden vorbeikommt, können Sie das Herstellungsdatum (und möglichst möglichst der Hersteller) überprüfen? Also schickte mir mein walisischer Freund ein Bild der Antwerpen -Station und ich sagte ihm, dass diese Pufferstopps sehr alt sind.
Und da er ein absoluter Zug ist, möchte er wissen, wie alt und so. Aber ich bin nicht so schnell über die Antwerpen vorbei.

I don’t think they are old. They remodelled the station In 2000 – 2007 and pulled out the old train tracks and replaced them with 6 new tracks, and one can only assume this included the old buffer stops and added some hydraulic new ones.

Unfortunately I don’t need to be there in the coming days but I did find on [Wikipedia](https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stootblok) (in Dutch) that they were gifted to Antwerp by the Germans after World War 1. So they’re probably German made and at least 100 years old.
In 2017 one was actually „used“ when a train couldn’t stop and quite sure it prevented a disaster. [Source](https://www.nieuwsblad.be/cnt/dmf20170915_03075633)
