      Basically everyone’s afraid of the midterms so they’re trying distance themselves from what’s about to occur after the spending bill passes…. Yet I expect enough of them will vote for it so the cuts pass. 

      So basically this is an example of speaking out of one side of your mouth while being completely complicit in harming your voter base(in the hopes voters won’t pay attention to what you actually voted for come midterms and will only remember the sound bite).

      Which to be fair this strategy will probably work/they will blame the Dems for the bill passing.

      If it wasn’t for culture war issues Republicans would never win a race, because when it comes to policies that actually affect conservative voters‘ lives, 100% of them are terrible. „Lib tears“ has been the Trojan horse for catastrophically harmful policies for as long as I’ve been alive.

      Well, the party of, ‚I got mine, fuck you‘,  convinced their voters were gonna get a piece of the action. They were used to advance an agenda they deeply believe in and will pay a personal price for it. Will it lead to clarity? Will it improve their critical thinking? Will it create a scenario to ‚join the good fight‘? No, it will not. I’m not sure if ‚getting along with *everyone*‘ is needed as much as we need to *not be ripped off‘ by a small group of greedy land barons.

      He forgot to add that it’s all for racism. It’s literally the story of the south, vote for hatred and racism and the white poor people suffer too with hospital and school closures, poison in their water and in the air.

      Those poor white people voted for the republicans, ignited and consistently driven by their hatred and are too dumb or sick to notice and so full of hatred from racism they keep voting for republicans, and for their own downfall.

      That’s the last 150 years of southern history.

      They’ll never know, who’s going to tell them? We laugh at the ridiculousness of trump saying the good parts are his and the bad parts are Biden’s, but his supporters full throatedly believe it.

      They are screwing us all. It is just the people that didn’t vote for him are prepared mentally at least to get screwed. His supporters don’t expect it until it is happening. Then they cry how could he do this to me.
