Exactly. Trump doesn’t realize that the powerful are the uber-wealthy who can give gifts like that without any care. They are the big kahuna, not Trump.

I love the fact the Qatari’s put the plane on the market in 2020 and have had no buyers for it.
It doesn’t even occur to him that Qatar didn’t even attempt to bribe any other U.S. President, ever.

The most amazing thing that could happen with this whole jet thing would be if at the end Trump just gets a shell of a plane. They already said they have to strip down the whole thing and redo everything. That’s not something that is done overnight. Hopefully it will take till the midterms. If the dems win they need to immediately pass a bill that completely stops any work on that plane using taxpayer money. After stripped work just stops. Then after this orange idiot is out of office they dump it at his club in NJ so he can have it for his library.
His supporters are also out there cheering him on for signing one of the best deals ever: selling a ton of planes to the people responsible for 9/11.

No one wants the costs associated with running a 747 Jumbo jet, that’s why carriers dumped them years ago for more efficient planes.

Trump’s patently desperate to be affirmed, so much so he ignores obvious flattery and exaggerates a deal that’s contradictory to his own past statements, both regarding the subject country and Boeing. The only saving grace here is this „dealmaking“ has distracted him from further chaos-making in his pet economic war for a couple weeks.
