I mean to be fair why does the POTUS get immunity for doing its job but judges don’t?
Except they already have immunity for performing official duties.

This may be a tactic to get trump vs United States back in front of the supreme court so they have the opportunity to change their ruling. I hope this is really just a big brain play made by judge Dugan. But even if it’s not, I love that she is using their own rulings against them.
Can’t wait for the maga dipshits to learn that there so called “precedent” can just as easily be applied to the other side; for example, they’ve spent years carving out religious exemptions and using it to argue against others’ rights, but what happens when let’s say a trans person also uses the religious persecution argument? “God made me this way and gave us dominion over ourselves, so your laws against my existence violate my religious freedom.” Another example is Chevron, I foresee that being cited to overrule new agency rules but the administration is probably going to claim it came from the president to use his immunity.

Remember that Judge in NY who kept letting Trump get away with contempt of court and gave him no sentence for 34 felonies? This Judge spent more time behind bars on frivilous charges than Trump did for 34 felony convictions. Should have given Trump atleast 24 hours for contempt and 90 days in jail for the conviction to star immediately since he might be unable to serve it if he won the election. If the Judge wasnt going to give a sentence he should have dismissed the case before it went to trial.

The concept of judicial immunity already existed. She is referring to the president’s immunity to reiterate a meaning of word in a cheeky manner imo.
