I know I’ll get some hate but what happened to Greek population especially after 19 May 1919 has NOTHING to do with what happened to Armenians and Assyrians.

In 1915 Armenians and Assyrians were Ottoman civilians. And well I dare to say what happened to Greek and Turkish population after 1919 was direct cause of Greco-Turkish WAR.

I’m not here to degrade or disrespect any of these nations here but comparing 1919 and 1915, though it’s just four year difference, is wild and that four years makes a big difference.

I appreciate their support on bringing awareness on genocide of Armenians and Assyrians but Greek one they talk, nah there’s full blown UK (Lloyd George) supported massive invasion of Anatoli+ Istanbul and a result of Megali Idea behind it.

What happened during that war was, well it was war not genocide. I’m well aware of what happened to Greek population before 1919 surely can be called genocide. But after that’s a different story.

You have no idea what you’re talking about, excusing the genocide that turks perpetrated against the Greeks makes you no better than all the other genocide deniers, a war is not an excuse to commit genocide, we’re not talking about collateral damage or some civilian casualties, this is about the systematic extermination of an entire population.
